VEEGUM^® Pure

VEEGUM^® Pure Magnesium Aluminum Silicate is a general-purpose grade that is OMRI Listed^®.  VEEGUM Pure is a highly purified smectite clay suspension stabilizer, emulsion optimizer and rheology modifier that allows suspension concentrates to be formulated for high stability, low viscosity, and good fluidity. 

This smectite clay is synergistic with common thickeners such as VANZAN^® xanthan gum and CMC.  These combinations will provide greater thickening, stabilizing and suspending properties than those developed by the individual components of the mixture.  When formulating with both VEEGUM and VANZAN, care should be taken to limit the exposure of VANZAN to high shear.  Please see our Crop Protection Pesticide Formulations No. 921 for more information on manufacturing processes.

VEEGUM Pure is a pharmaceutical grade which also has use in agri-science.
