DARVAN® 670 Dispersing Agent is asodium polynaphthalenesulfonate powder dispersant for the preparation of aqueous dispersions of colored pigments, dyes, and extender pigments. that are used in the manufacture of water-borne paints and coatings. It is effective for viscosity reduction of high solids dispersions of red iron oxide and similar pigments. It functions as a pitch control agent for pulp and papermaking, and is useful in the recovery of tall oil from pulp mill black liquor. DARVAN 670 also acts as a secondary dispersant and emulsion stabilizer in emulsions of synthetic rubber products.
