Programs & Functions

The Risk Management programs and functions at R.T. Vanderbilt Holding Company, Inc. are designed to satisfy the objectives of the Responsible Care® initiative as well as foster sound safety, health and environmental practices. By basic focus area, programs and functions include the following: Employee Health & Safety Process Safety Product Stewardship Distribution Environmental Community Outreach (awareness) and Emergency Response Security Responsible Care Management System®: All risk management focus areas are integrated, maintained and improved upon through systems and programs known as the Responsible Care Management System® (RCMS®). The RCMS® is intended to incorporate the principles and activities of the American Chemistry Council's (ACC) Responsible Care initiative to more fully engage the business structure of each ACC member company in sustaining and advancing the guiding principles of Responsible Care®. R.T. Vanderbilt Holding Company, Inc. has achieved certification of its RCMS® program and, like all ACC members, is subject to periodic third party verifications for compliance to, and understanding of, this important management system.
